George Washington Taggart

Since Mary made us a new Family blog, I guess this one will continue to dry up and die.
Thanks Nate for being so techie advanced and as always "hip" and way ahead of us (me, anyway)and creating this most wonderful blog. Alas, Mary was about the only one to water and/or nurture the little sugar tree. Thanks to you as well *Mary*.
Shall we put the tree out of its misery? Chop it down? I can't do it....Until someone decides what to do with it, here is a site that may interest some. I tried to easy link it, but it didn't work.
It is on the new site, The Melting Wok as well. Go read it Family. Then ask Grandma Thornton all about him.

Happy Birthday to Nathan!

Also, Happy Columbus Day. Happy Thanksgiving, if you are in Canada. Last, and least, Happy Birthday to Marie Osmond. We sure LOVE YOU! Even if you never read this. (Nathan, not Marie). Love, Mom

I washed it again

Simon has to draw a comic strip for the school paper. Got any good ideas? We're on the verge of doing a joke about a kid who's class mate says 'this home work is so easy, a monkey could do it' so the kid gives his homework to a monkey who appears to destroy it but in fact gets all the answers correct. This joke's strength is that anything with a monkey is funny. Anyway, if you have an idea please let us pirate it.
Quote of the week, "I'm going to wash the blanket again because there is still some throw-up on it." Tabitha had a 24 hr flu. I washed everyones bedding. Hoorah for the glamorous New York life!

Phelps newest medal

It wasn't Michael Phelps, it was Uncle Dennis, but he was swimming (almost). It really rained Sat. all during the marathon. We were very happy to have the nice downpour.
